The application process

Q. Can I post/fax you a copy of my resume?

A. We ask that you submit your resume via our web-based system so that we can quickly and accurately match your skills and experience to any suitable positions. If you are experiencing difficulties using the web based system, please contact us through the following email address: cacareers@arnotts.com

Q. I have sent my application through the web based system and forgotten to attach my new resume, what should I do?

A. Prior to applying for a new position on our system, it is best to update your profile first. If you have missed this step, please email us (cacareers@arnotts.com) with the documents you would like to have considered, and ensure you title your email with the relevant requisition number or position title. From there, it will be sent to the person from the recruitment team who is managing the vacancy.

Q. Who has the ability to see my profile?

A. The profile you create through our web based system is only accessible by members of the recruitment team. In the course of the recruitment process, your application may be shared with the Manager(s) hiring for the position. For further information please refer to the Privacy Policy section of this website.

Q. Will I receive a response to my job application?

A. Yes. On receipt of your application, our system will immediately notify you on the email address you have supplied to confirm your application.

Q. Why haven't I received a response in relation to my application?

A. As our system is automated, it's important to check you have entered a valid email address and that you have not made an error with your details (for example, putting '.au' at the end of a hotmail email account). Please note, if your email address is invalid, our system will not be able to contact you, so if you have not received communication from us following an application, please log into your profile and check your details are correct.

Q. Can I apply for more than one role?

A. Yes you can. Once you have set up a profile on our system, you will be able to apply for any position which suits your skills, experience and interests.

Q. Can I obtain a job description?

A. At Campbell Arnottís we prefer to share specific job related information with you at your first interview. If you have any concerns about the level of the position and you have been contacted to attend a first interview you might like to address those concerns during that telephone conversation.

Q. How can I find out the salary for the position I have applied for?

A. We often discuss salary expectations at the first interview. If you have any concerns please discuss them with the recruitment associate at that time.

The interview process

Q. How long will the selection process take?

A. The length of the recruitment process depends on many different variables, however, we aim to keep you as informed as possible throughout all stages. We also recognise the time you have invested in our recruitment process, so we endeavour to operate as efficiently and effectively as possible.

Q. How will I know if I am unsuccessful in moving forward to a first interview?

A. We will advise you via email if we decide not to progress with your application to a first interview.

Q. What can I expect from the interview?

A. We like to keep interviews as relaxed as possible, but you can expect our questions to be challenging. Please review our interview tips page, which will provide you with some useful information on how to best prepare yourself for our behaviour based interviewing style.

Q. How can I remove my resume from the Campbell Arnott's database?

A. If you wish to have your details permanently removed from our database please request this by clicking here cacareers@arnotts.com and detailing your name and contact number in the email.

Q. Do you recruit people with disabilities?

A. Yes. Campbell Arnott's welcomes applications from anyone who meets our selection criteria.

Q. Do you accept resumes from employment agencies?

A. Campbell Arnott's does not accept resumes from recruitment agencies who have not signed an appropriate agreement with us.

Q. Do you offer internships or work experience?

A. Campbell Arnott's does not currently offer internship or work experience for students. Should this change in the future, such opportunities will be advertised on our website.
